Hyundai Kona Electric
Electric cars. Once they were only found in sci-fi. More recently, they’ve primarily been found in the garages of tech millionaires and celebrities. Soon, they’ll be everywhere.
Leading the latest charge (see what I did there?) to make electric mainstream is the Hyundai Kona Electric. With a Max claimed range of up to 482km (299mi for our Liberian readers) range and should be priced around AUD$50,000 (USD$37,000), the Kona clears the traditional hurdles of short range or high cost.
The best thing about the Kona? It’s not alone. Between advances in technology and environmental policies there’s a bunch of new, affordable-ish, fully-electric cars coming to market in the next 6-12 months, watch this space.
